Hi everyone
Just read a review on the new Intel based Macs. Is it correct that the new Intel based systems are slower than the Apple based systems due to software limitations?

This is because current PowerPC Mac software doesn't run natively on an intel Mac. It has to be 'translated' by some software called Rosetta, which inevitably has the effect of slowing performance. As more universal application are released which run on both, the less this should be an issue.
