My iPod won't turn on

I can't turn my 30GB iPod on - I've made sure it is fully charged, but it the screen just shows an unhappy iPod picture. Has anybody experienced this? What should I do?

If you connect your iPod to a dock or to a link cable you can reset the software by holding down menu for 10 seconds. This will not wipe the memory. Had to do this a few times.
